Golsby Gets 66 Years Added to Sentence

(Columbus, OH) The man convicted of killing a former Anthony Wayne high school student won't see the light of day.

Brian Golsby pleaded guilty Tuesday to a series of six armed robberies he committed in the German Village area of Columbus before he kidnapped, raped, and killed 21-year old Reagan Tokes last year.

After that admission, a judge tacked on 66 more years to the life sentence a jury handed Golsby during his recent capital murder trial.

The family of the slain Ohio State senior is still pursuing tougher state legislation requiring better monitoring of people on parole. Golsby committed the violent crime wave while still wearing an ankle monitor at a time when his handlers lost track of him.
