(Toledo, OH) The Washington local school board may have a new colleague in mind later today.
The Washington Local Board of Education has scheduled a second day of second interviews with some of the nine people seeking to replace former school board member Patrick Hickey, who resigned this month after being charged in a sex scandal involving a teen victim.
WLS school board members interviewed all nine last week and planned to interview finalists and come to a decision sometime today. The school board will meet at 6 p.m.
The school board president hopes to reach a consensus, then vote to appoint a replacement at its April 11th school board meeting.
