(Toledo, OH) The Overland Industrial Park is getting its third major tenant.
The port authority has approved plans at the former Jeep factory site for an electrical supply distributor to move its scattered regional operations into one site-- a new warehouse at the Overland Industrial Park.
There won't be significant job gains for Consolidated Electrical Distributors, but the warehouse will be built on a brownfield site the port authority once thought too contaminated to develop.
The port authority will issue $3 million worth of bonds to pay for construction of the warehouse, then lease it back to the company for at least the next decade.
