Patrick Hickey Turns Self In, Posts Bond

ADRIAN, Michigan - Patrick Hickey faced a judge for the first time Wednesday morning.

WTOL 11 reports the former Washington Local School Board member was released from jail this morning after posting a $25,000 bond. He's been ordered not to be on any school-related property or anywhere there are minors 16 and under. The judge also said Hickey is only allowed to drive between Lucas, Lenawee and Washtenaw Counties.

Hickey faces three counts of criminal sexual conduct in an alleged incident from 1987 with a minor between the ages of 13 and 15 while he was a teacher at Addison Local Schools. His next court date is March 28.

Michigan State Police are also investigating at least one other separate incident from when Hickey was employed with Addison Local Schools.
