ADRIAN, Michigan - Charges have officially been filed against Washington Local School Board member Patrick Hickey.
WTOL 11 reports charges were filed Tuesday morning against Hickey in Lenawee County District Court.
Hickey is charged with three counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a person 13 through 15 years old. The charges stem from allegations of misconduct from when Hickey was a teacher at Addison Local Schools. The case was re-opened earlier this year.
Hickey was elected to the Washington Local School Board last November.
UPDATE 1:09 PM: Hickey's lawyer, Lorin Zaner, says Hickey maintains his innocence, but will be resigning from the WLS school board.
