Serial Killer Faces Hearing For Possible Release

(Toledo, OH) There's a hearing scheduled today in the potential release of a serial killer.

A Lucas County judge will hear evidence and testimony to begin determining whether 59-year old Nathaniel Cook should be registered as a sex offender and forced to disclose his address if he's given judicial release from prison.

Cook has served a 20-year sentence agreed to by prosecutors and victims families, in exchange for his confession in three killings. He and his older brother Anthony admitted responsibility for a string of cases where they stalked, raped, and murdered young women in the 1980's.

The judge will decide whether to uphold that plea deal, along with how, when, and if Cook will be released back into society.
