(Toledo, OH) The remaining Democratic candidates for Ohio governor debate in Toledo tonight.
The Ohio Democratic Party is purposely staging the debate one day after the final State of the State speech by outgoing Republican Governor John Kasich.
Former federal consumer watchdog Richard Cordray will square off with former Congressman and Cleveland Mayor Dennis Kucinich, former Ohio Supreme Court justice William O'Neill and state senator Joe Schiavoni at 5 p.m. at Bowsher High School in the televised debate simulcast by 1370 WSPD and WTOL-TV 11.
Topics expected to be addressed include the opioid epidemic, the economy, infrastructure, access to healthcare, and state cutbacks in local government funding.
