(Columbus, OH) -- Jury selection is scheduled to begin today in the Brian Golsby murder trial.
Franklin County prosecutors and defense attorneys will weed through more than 50 prospective jurors before opening arguments.
Prosecutors and defense attorneys will make their cases this week in the trial of Golsby, who's accused of sneaking away from his electronic monitoring in a series of robberies around Columbus.
The case came to a head when detectives accused Golsby of kidnapping, raping, and killing former Anthony Wayne tennis player and Ohio State University student Reagan Tokes last year. Her body was found in a Columbus-area Metropark, with police able to match DNA from the scene to Golsby.
He could get the death penalty if he's convicted.
