TOLEDO, Ohio - A high speed chase that begin Monday afternoon in Detroit ended just outside Toledo.
WTOL 11 reports a suspect in a triple homicide lead police on a chase from Detroit that ended near the Flying J truck stop on I-75 and I-280.
The suspect has been identified as 27-year-old George Anthony Davis.
Lake Township Police, Toledo Police and the Ohio State Highway Patrol all joined the chase when it crossed into Ohio.
The chase ended when Davis crashed on I-280 in Lake Township and attempted to flee on foot. Officers pursued for about a minute before finding Davis with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Davis was taken to St. Vincent's hospital where he was pronounced dead.
