Could Hyperloop Include a Toledo Stop?

(Cleveland, OH) More will be known later today about a proposed HyperLoop between Cleveland and Chicago-- that could include Toledo one day soon.

The Hyperloop is billed as a human transport system that moves at the speed of sound and rides on a cushion of air, powered by the sun. A trip from Toledo to Chicago would take just 20 minutes, half-an-hour from Cleveland.

The group studying a proposed Hyperloop route is scheduled to release more details of the plan today at the Great Lakes Science Center in downtown Cleveland..That information includes possible routes and costs of the magnetic tube transit system.

The early goals are to be moving cargo by 2020 and passengers by 2021. Backers say the feasibility studies will be quick, the results not that far-fetched.
