(Toledo, OH) Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown is talking about fighting drug-facilitated human trafficking.
Brown spoke about the bipartisan legislation he introduced while joining northwest Ohio law enforcement and human trafficking victim advocates at the University of Toledo Tuesday.
Brown said the Protecting Rights of Those Exploited by Coercive Trafficking Act would target the use of drugs to facilitate human trafficking.
The bill is co-sponsored by Republican Senators John Cornyn of Texas and Rob Portman.
