(Findlay, OH) Some Northwest Ohio schools are playing a cyber game of "capture the flag" today.
Teams from the University of Toledo, Tiffin University, Rhodes State University, and the Findlay Digital Academy are taking on high school squads from Findlay, Arcadia, Van Buren, Carey, and McComb to test their skills at defending against cyberattacks.
The Ohio Cyber Collaboration Committee, or O-C-3, is hosting the competition designed to develop a stronger cybersecurity infrastructure and provide innovative training and education.
The Cyber Range being used today is a virtual training ground and testing environment for schools, governments, and businesses. The real-world scenarios used will test the teams' technical and tactical skills in cybersecurity with prizes for the top three.
