(Wauseon, OH) A Fulton County murder suspect may decide on a plea deal today.
Prosecutors are offering to take the death penalty off the table if 58-year old James Worley pleads guilty to the murder of former Evergreen High School and University of Toledo student Sierah Joughin.
Otherwise, Worley will face a capital murder trial three weeks from today. Prosecutors are expected to put the proposed plea agreement on the record at a pretrial hearing this afternoon.
Worley faces kidnapping and murder charges in the 20-year old woman's death. Her body was found after several days of searching buried just outside a barn with a torture room on Worley's rural property near Delta.
