(Toledo, OH) The Marina District developer is asking for a zoning change to expand its plans.
Continental Development wants the Toledo Plan Commission to turn two Front Street properties into commercial zoning, so the Columbus company can begin to develop what could become a medical campus in East Toledo.
One of two buildings at the corner of Front and Main would be demolished and the other renovated for potential medical use. But the back of the second building would be torn down to make way for a proposed Metroparks bike path across the property.
The second site has plans for a medical office building to be built on what's now vacant industrial land. Both Front Street properties sit next to the Marina District.
