TOLEDO, Ohio - Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz and Lucas County Sheriff John Tharp are expecting a significant amount of snow tomorrow.
At a news conference Thursday afternoon, the Mayor said the city is well prepared to handle a winter storm.
"We're gonna be okay, we are used to this, we are Toledoans... but it's also important that we be prepared," Mayor Kapszukiewicz said.
Commissioner of Streets, Bridges and Harbor Jeremy Mikolajczyk detailed the preparations the city's plow crews have been making, explaining that crews will be working 12 hours shifts and will be focusing on Phase 1 roads,
He said crews are expecting to be working all weekend.
