Sauder Village to Add New Historical Display

A Northwest Ohio tourist draw is building a new attraction.

Sauder Village in Archbold is constructing a 1920's Main Street scene. The nonprofit, family-friendly destination is building the $1.5 million-dollar attraction as part of its Walk Through Time experience.

The project will be a living-history display, replicating a portion of a prohibition-era downtown typical of rural Northwest Ohio, at a time when many families still used horses for transportation.

The expansion is hoped to attract even more of the 80,000 guests and 18,000 school students who visit Sauder Village each season.
