(Toledo, OH) A pair of state reps will go against each other in May for a state senate seat.
The Lucas County Democratic Party official endorsed state rep Michael Ashford for the May primary. Ashford is seeking an open state senate seat being vacated by longtime public official Edna Brown, who's retiring from her 11th District post.
But fellow Toledo Democrat Teresa Fedor wants to return to the Ohio Senate, so the state rep is going to challenge her colleague in the Democratic primary, claiming voters deserve to choose between the two. Both state reps are facing term limits in the Ohio House.
