Private School to Open in Fall in Bowling Green

(Bowling Green, OH) A new private school is set to open this fall in Bowling Green.

Sleek Academy is expected to focus on a STEAM curriculum-- integrating science, technology, engineering, art, and math. The K-through-12 private school will teach project-based learning-- where individualism and imagination will be encouraged.

The method of teaching was developed across the street at All About the Kids Learning Center. Class sizes are expected to be smaller than most public schools-- 20 students in lower grades, 25 in middle and high school.

The academy will be equipped with two cafeterias, a gym and wellness classroom for sports and fitness, a home ec lab and an industrial arts classroom. The school held an information meeting for parents Tuesday night.
