Jeep Workers Picket Detroit Auto Show

(Detroit, MI) Workers at the Toledo Jeep plant are hoping their message was heard clearly by Fiat Chrysler executives.

Dozens of United Auto Workers members picketed the North American International Auto Show in Detroit Sunday, urging the automaker to keep the Toledo terminal open.  The depot for auto parts used in Jeep Wrangler production will close next month, with deliveries handled by Detroit-based drivers.

At issue is whether Fiat Chrysler told the union the terminal was closing two years ago or the decision was made without bargaining.
