NEW YORK, NY - Former Rocket and current Kansas City Chief Kareem Hunt will add some more hardware to his trophy case.
The Pro Football Writers of America named Hunt 2017's Co-Offensive Rookie of the Year on Tuesday, along with Alvin Kamara of the New Orleans Saints.
Hunt lead the NFL with 1,327 rushing yards on 272 carries, scoring eight touchdowns. He also caught 53 passes for 455 yards and another three scores. Hunt also set a rookie record by starting his NFL career with seven consecutive games with 100 or more yards from scrimmage. He was named Offensive Rookie of the month in September and December.
