Winter Weather Advisory for NW Ohio

(Toledo, OH)  The next winter storm will bring ice and snow to northwest Ohio.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory until 7 p.m.  Freezing rain will coat the area in ice as temperatures fall, followed by one to three inches of snow.

Snowplow drivers are making their money on days like today.  Ohio Department of Transportation and Toledo city officials say crews are working 12-hour shifts to stay ahead of the ice and snow.

The morning commute is expected to be sloppy, so drivers are being urged to take their time and let plow crews do their work.
