Toledo Crews to Play Catch-Up in Warmer Weather

(Toledo, OH) Toledo city crews plan to take advantage of warm weather to play some catch-up.

With temperatures in the 40's and 50's today and tomorrow, city crews will temporarily turn in their plows to collect last fall's remaining leaves in ther 43614 zip code and patch as many potholes as possible.

But preparations will continue for what's expected to be a nasty weekend winter storm, with up to a foot of snow, gusty winds, and bitter-cold temperatures expected Friday night and Saturday.

Residents also are being asked to check storm sewers and clear debris so the melting snow and rain won't cause any flooding in neighborhoods.
