More Than 200 Dogs Rescued From Home

(Adrian, MI)   More than 200 dogs and other animals are safe after being rescued from a Lenawee County home.

Sheriff's deputies say the dogs, horses, cats and peacocks were taken from Sharon Kay Evans' home this week after they were found living outdoors in the bitter cold, subjected to unclean kennels with little food or water.

Evans was charged Thursday with animal cruelty.  Her animals were taken to several nearby shelters for veterinary care.
