(Toledo, OH) Brutally cold temperatures are locked in across northwest Ohio.
The National Weather Service has extended a Wind Chill Advisory to noon tomorrow. Some areas could have wind chills as low as 20-below zero today with even colder temperatures on the way later this week.
The bitter cold temperatures gripping northwest Ohio is quickly turning Lake Erie into a sheet of ice.
Federal government forecasters say 35-percent of the lake is iced over, but on pace for 100-percent by Thursday. A completely iced Lake Erie means a sharp drop in lake-effect snow.
