(Toledo, OH) Metroparks Toledo is recruiting a few good men and women.
The Metroparks is seeking adults to join its Volunteer Trail Patrol in 2018. Information meetings are set for Sundays in January at Ward Pavilion in Wildwood Preserve. Patrol members commit to 50 hours of volunteer service each year, including 16 hours of training in first aid, CPR, and Metropark features.
The trail patrol now numbers 260 volunteers, but more are needed because of new Metroparks—such as the Middlegrounds, Fallen Timbers Battlefield, and Wiregrass Lake, along with the Howard Marsh set to open in the spring.
