(Toledo, OH) Four Toledo teenagers accused of throwing a sandbag onto a car on I-75 are now facing murder charges.
Lucas County prosecutors upgraded felonious assault charges against the teens Tuesday. The boys are accused of throwing the sandbag from the Indiana Avenue overpass last week, killing Marquise Byrd.
The teens also are facing felony vandalism charges for damage caused to other vehicles.
The 13-year old and 14-year old suspects remain in juvenile court custody. Hearings are expected in court on Thursday.
