(Toledo, OH) The University of Toledo will offer a four-year tuition guarantee next fall.
The UT board of trustees Monday approved a tuition guarantee plan for incoming freshman, which will freeze tuition and general fees for a four-year period, along with set prices for housing and meal plans.
But students who need more time to finish their degrees can apply for extensions of the locked-in prices. The new tuition plan will start next fall with incoming freshman, full or part-time. But the guarantee won't include out-of-state students, parking permits, and textbooks.
Bowling Green State University and nine other Ohio public universities already have passed similar plans.
