TOLEDO, Ohio - A Toledo Police officer is in critical condition after being injured in a head-on collision Friday in south Toledo.
WTOL 11 reports the crash happened on Heatherdowns when an SUV turned in front of the officer's cruiser. Police say the officer suffered a fractured leg and possible head injuries.
The driver of the SUV was hospitalized for observation, but was uninjured.
