(Holland, OH) The Lucas County engineer will present some future road improvements in a roundabout way tonight.
The proposed Dorr Street interchange with I-475 has a unique design that may require an animation video for people to understand the potential traffic flow. The proposed project has two roundabouts-one on each side of the interstate with no traffic lights.
That video will be used during a public hearing at the Springfield Township Hall from 4 to 6 p.m. The county engineer and township trustees are helping to fund the $40 million project, which has been on the drawing board for nearly two decades.
But project designers may have a positive development to share at the hearing-- ODOT’s transportation review advisory council is expected to approve the remaining funds at a meeting earlier in the day.
