(Toledo, OH) Toledo City Council is scheduled to vote today on a parking plan for nearly 200 city and Lucas County employees.
The city would spend nearly $150,000 to rent parking spaces from Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Summit Street and the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority lot on the riverfront.
City officials say the rented spaces will make up for the loss of parking to the expansion of the federal courthouse at Cherry Street and Constitution Avenue.
The lot is where many Toledo police officers and Lucas County Health Department employees have parked.
