(Toledo, OH) A University of Toledo study shows you may be able to stop Christmas shopping now.
The study found less is more when it comes to creative, healthy play among toddlers.
The University of Toledo study looked at whether the number of toys in a toddler's environment influenced their quality of play. The research comes just in time for family and friends likely to spoil a toddler with toys for Christmas. The research suggests an abundance of toys may simply create a distraction for toddlers.
The study will appear in the February issue of Infant Behavior and Development.
