(Maumee, OH) A Northwest Ohio state representative is hosting an Obamacare town hall this weekend.
Toledo Democrat Michael Sheehy is encouraging his constituents to sign up for coverage under the Affordable Care Act at Saturday afternoon's town hall meeting. The state rep has enlisted the help of public health officials to discuss healthcare issues, provide open enrollment, and help people navigate the healthcare exchange.
The event is being held Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Maumee branch library, where people who want to sign up are being encouraged to bring income information, their social security number and other vital information.
The hope is to help people beat the December 15th deadline to get coverage.
