(Toledo, OH) Some Northwest Ohio post offices will open extended hours this weekend for the holiday season.
Four post offices across the region will offer extra hours the next two Sundays, hoping to help you get your gifts and Christmas cards to their destinations before Santa Claus arrives.
Post offices in Maumee, Sylvania, and Bowling Green will be open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, while the post office near Franklin Park Mall will open its doors 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The postal service estimates its workers will deliver more than 15 billion pieces of mail and 850 million packages this holiday season, up ten percent over last year.
