(Toledo, OH) Toledo Police Chief George Kral is hoping to maintain community support for his officers through transparency.
Kral issued his annual "Report to the Community" last night, sharing details about crime totals in Toledo and his plans to fight the rising amount of youth and drug-related gang violence.
The plans include more community meetings, more officers on the street and data-driven enforcement efforts during 2018.
Toledo's overall crime rate dropped this year, but murders are on pace to exceed last year's total.
