Toledo Police Receive Public, Regulatory Input

(Toledo, OH) Toledo police go under the microscope today.

A team of assessors will go over Toledo police operations with a fine-toothed comb as the department seeks to renew its professional accreditation, a mark of law enforcement excellence.

The community can give public comment during a hearing at One Government Center starting at 4 p.m. as part of that process.

Then police chief George Kral (crawl) will update the community on crime trends and police plans for 2018 at a public briefing to be held at 6 p.m. at the main library downtown.
