(Columbus, OH) Ohio high school and college students are doing battle today against cyberattacks.
The competition is a first-of-its kind game of capture-the-flag in a cybersecurity virtual training ground. Ohio students will test their skills at defending against cyberattacks in real-world scenarios.
The inaugural competition is taking place through the Ohio Cyber Collaboration Committee’s Cyber Range. a virtual practice space that can be used for training and competitions and as a testing environment for government, schools and businesses.
The collaboration is aimed at strengthening cybersecurity and related training, an effort led by the Ohio National Guard and involving over 100 public, private, military and educational organizations.
