DAYTON, Ohio - Ohio's Republican voters will have one very powerful choice on the GOP primary ballot in a few months.
Mike DeWine and Jon Husted have made it official. They're running for Governor and Lieutenant Governor on the same ticket.
"It's vitally important that the Governor and Lieutenant Governor share a common vision for the state. It's important that they share the shame values," DeWine said during an event at the University of Dayton announcing the ticket.
"We agreed that the best way for us to serve Ohio was to serve together," Husted added.
Husted says nothing changes his goals if elected, only now his job description.
