(Columbus, OH) A new TeachArtsOhio program is offering grants to schools.
While much of the emphasis in schools is on STEM coursework these days, the Ohio Arts Council wants to ensure there's more STEAM in the classroom-- science, technology, engineering, art, and math.
The new program is intended to bring schools and community organizations together with teaching artists for learning experiences. The grants will cover artist fees, but schools must provide all program-related materials and supplies.
Public, charter, and parochial schools in Ohio are all eligible to apply with a February first deadline.
