(Toledo, OH) Many of the major retailers will open early Thanksgiving Day to get a jump on Black Friday shoppers.
Bass Pro in Rossford and Cabelas in Dundee will be open all day on Thanksgiving, while other retail chains will at least wait until after Thanksgiving dinner before throwing open their doors to bored shoppers.
Best Buy, Toys-R-Us, Macy's and Kohls start the doorbuster deals at 5 p.m., followed by Target, Wal-Mart, and the Franklin Park Mall at 6 p.m.
But many retailers are staying closed for the holiday, either to give their associates a day off or because it's just not been good for business. Among those are Meijer, Lowe's, Home Depot, the Shops at Fallen Timbers, and Levis Commons.
