(Northwood, OH) Northwood students now have a new place to learn.
The Wood County school district dedicated a new building Tuesday, which will combine three different buildings into one, state-of-the-art campus. The new Northwood school building will house preschool to 12th grade and replaces other buildings that ranged from 50 to 90 years old.
Elements from the now-shuttered Onley Elementary school were combined into the design-- including a trophy case and a courtyard gate from the 1938 building.
But the new $35 million school next to I-280 also has new features, including LED and natural lighting, interactive displays, and collaborative teaching and learning space.
