(Whitehouse, OH) Toledo Metroparks hopes to set a tasty world record Saturday.
Metroparks staff hope to draw 500 people or more to the Blue Creek Conservation Area near Whitehouse Saturday to make s’mores—all at the same time.
The goal is to break the world record of 453 people who made the popular campfire treats simultaneously in California last August. Metroparks staff will document each person as they roast marshmallows and add chocolate between two graham crackers to meet Guinness Book of World Records criteria.
The event starts at 10 a.m. Saturday during the annual Fall Frenzy at Blue Creek, which features canoeing, archery, rock-climbing, and carriage rides.
