TOLEDO, Ohio - Toledo city councilman Larry Sykes has been arrested after a confrontation with an area activist.
WTOL 11 reports Sykes was arrested Thursday night after allegedly choking and punching Toledo Black Lives Matter member Julian Mack.
Mack said in a Facebook post that he called police after Sykes called him "a boy" and then assaulted him.
Sykes was later arrested.
