(Sylvania Two., OH) A Sylvania Township manufacturer is seeking to build a new warehouse.
Thermodyn wants to build a combination warehouse-light industrial building behind its current location along King Road. The five-acre property along Silica Road is zoned residential and has a home on the site. But there are other contractors and manufacturing sites nearby, so the Lucas County plan commission staff is recommending approval at its hearing next week.
The company makes adhesives, coatings, and caulks for industry. There's no word if Thermodyn plans an expansion or hire new employees when the company builds the new 40-thousand square foot building.
Sylvania Township trustees will get the final say in a few weeks.
