COLUMBUS, Ohio - An apology from an Ohio senator who abruptly resigned his seat.
Inappropriate conversations involving a female state worker are the reason why now former Senator Cliff Hite says he stepped down. Hite took to Twitter to say he sometimes asked the woman for hugs, and talked with her in a way not appropriate for a married man. Hite says beyond those hugs, he had no inappropriate physical contact. Hite has represented 11 counties in northwest Ohio and was a leading force in building a wind farm south of Findlay.
