NW Ohio Soldiers Return from Middle East Duty

(Perrysburg, OH) Dozens of Ohio National Guard soldiers come home to northwest Ohio today.

80 members of the 323rd Military Police Company will be welcomed at a public ceremony at Cedar Creek Church in Perrysburg at 5:30 this evening.

The troops spent the past year running detention centers for ISIS fighters in Syria and Iraq. The unit took part in what's known as Operation Inherent Resolve, the U.S. military's operational name for the military intervention against the Islamic State in the Middle East.
