(Toledo, OH) The University of Toledo plans a ribbon-cutting ceremony today to highlight recent renovations its Carlson Library.
The $6 million upgrade features more open spaces, study rooms, and a new veterans lounge. More windows also allow more natural light more conducive to studying.
UT’s president and other campus officials will attend the 3 p.m. ceremony, which is part of the university’s Founders Day. The campus is celebrating its 145 anniversary this year, established with the donation of 160 acres from a Toledo philanthroper.
UT also is marking Founders day with an online alumni donor campaign called Rocket Forward.
