(Wauseon, OH) A Fulton County man is due in court today in a high-profile kidnapping and murder case.
James Ramey faces a pre-trial hearing, accused of murdering his former girlfriend, 23-year old Amanda Mangas, at her parent's home last March, then kidnapping his mother-in-law and the couple's 10-month old son. He was later captured by authorities in Indiana, his two captives unharmed.
Ramey is facing 22 felony counts, including murder with a death penalty specification. He has pleaded not guilty and remains at CCNO on $1 million bond.
His trial in Fulton County court is set for March 12 of next year.
