(Toledo, OH) The voter registration deadline is Tuesday in Ohio.
The secretary of state is warning Ohio residents they only have until the close of business Tuesday to register to vote in the November general election or make any changes to their existing registration. Today is Columbus Day, so most government offices will be closed.
There will be more than 1,500 local issues on ballots across Ohio. Early, in-person voting and absentee voting both begin Wednesday.
The Lucas County board of elections says its early vote center at the Ohio Means Jobs building at 13th and Monroe will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every weekday through the end of the month, starting Wednesday.
