(Stryker, OH) The regional jail doors are being opened to the public today at CCNO.
The Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio in Stryker is offering an open house and public tours as part of its 30th anniversary. The public awareness event also may serve to help quell public perception of CCNO in light of the ongoing controversy between Toledo and Lucas County officials over jail beds.
The regional lock-up serves five Northwest Ohio counties-- Lucas, Fulton, Definance, Henry and Williams.
The open house for the public runs 4 to 8 p.m. today and for public officials from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday.
