(Toledo, OH) Toledo police are helping to host a Senior Safety Day.
The Eleanor Kahle Senior Center is the site of the day-long safety seminar where golden-agers can get the latest informaiton omn elder scams, crime prevention, and several safety topics. There will be free smoke detectors for Toledo residents and a prescription drug drop-off.
The BBB's scam prevention unit will give a presentation, along with the Red Cross to talk about their sound-the-alam, emergency preparedness, and telecare programs. Nearly 30 community agencies will attend to offer senior citizens one-stop information on available protection programs.
The event runs 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
